The protagonist Mars: War Logs calls Roy, and once he was a mercenary who fought on the side of one of the "water" syndicates. After the decisive battle, he landed in a prisoner of war camp and now wants only one thing – to escape as soon as possible. But the swarm of the past prefers to keep quiet down to the very end, and with what on earth should his person be interested in – one can only guess.

Use power, swarm!
Mars performed by Spiders is beautiful, but it consists entirely of closed locations: prisons, city streets, sewers … In some, we move without fear for our lives, take quests and go shopping, in others – we mainly fight.
The game partly resembles the combat system Assassin’s Creed. Around the hero circles several enemies, we can attack with cold weapons or fists, block strokes, as well as use special receptions and gadgets like homemade bombs and traps. There is no small arms: at the very beginning of the swarm they give out a frail nail, ammunition to which is constantly ending. Shoot it for a long time, reload even longer, so there is hardly a couple of shots for the battle more than a couple of shots.
► The police do not doze! Once Roy will require his ID: if you have not got it on the quest before, fights cannot be avoided.
In the second third of the game, the swarm will acquire the gadget of the local elite – a glove of technomants, and will learn how to charge weapons with electricity, create an energy shield, an explosive wave and lightning bombs. They won’t let them go for a walk here either: the animation of each perk takes a few seconds, and if you do not pump up in advance, the warning will certainly interrupt the “cast”.
This is important: Fire is taken into account in battles, and this can be used for their own purposes. Situation: You were surrounded by soldiers with electric shows and flocks of mutating dogs. Martian hounds accelerate, like bulls in a corrid. Try to break out of the cordon and hide behind the gaping soldiers – so they will be in the way of dogs and will suffer greatly.

The rest of the hero’s skills are scattered through three branches: struggle, technomancy and secrecy and secrecy. With the first two, everything is extremely clear – thicker armor, more powerful blows, brighter than lightning, but the secrecy is clearly superfluous: the locations on Mars are small, there is nowhere really to hide. In addition, in an open battle, in the end, you will have to join.
Good equipment from enemies almost does not fall, and what sellers have is no good, so we make most of the equipment ourselves. Batons, cartridges, armor, first -aid kits, etc. It makes no sense to save on resources: very soon there will be so many of them that there will be nowhere to do.
THIS IS INTERESTING: The main currency of Mars is mined in a very interesting way: the main character carries a syringe with him, which extracts a certain serum from defeated opponents – local “liquid money”. The swarm leans toward the defeated, but still living enemy, pumps up the substance, and he falls asleep with an eternal sleep. Never wanted to know how to work from sisters from BIOSHOCK?

Mars: War Logs is called a role -playing game, but all the role in it ends on the pumping system and the creation of objects. We hardly affect the development of the plot. The variability in the tasks is reduced to a difficult dilemma “scare or immediately heat with a lot”, and only once we make a fateful solution – when Roy is offered to join one of the two groups operating on Mars. We are waiting for two completely different stories that will show heroes at different angles … But the ending is the same.
It will not work to identify himself with the main character – and the point here is not only in the almost complete absence of a choice, but also in the strange reluctance of the authors to go into plot details and talk about characters. It seems that we play in the sequel to some unknown game and should know everything ourselves in advance. For example, once a swarm overcomes a bustle hunter in a battle, and he suddenly takes and imposes on him to his friends. Say, they promised me money and ordered you to kill, but now you have beaten me, so better I will help you. We have no reason to trust the mercenary … but Roy has. But which ones – we will not recognize.
Where are you, Liara?
► It is enough to save the girl after the explosion, and she is your. Apparently, to the technomanians to find out a person, two meetings are enough and talk a couple of times.
Over time, four partners will sit on our neck – and only one will follow the swarm. The composition is motley: a boyfriend from a military camp, a technicant, a member of the resistance group and a mentioned head hunter. Unfortunately, only a technician girl stands out among them. The rest differ from each other, like one boxing pear from another. Perform the same functions: while opponents pound a partner, Roy manages to deal with the main part of the attackers. If we are not tagging at the zipper of the Technomant, we will beat enemies alone alone.
Interaction with partners is a joint muzzle, several dialogs … and that's it. Luck of Spins Casino Characters do not respond to our actions, one cannot develop relationships with them. The only love line in the game looks like a guide for a young pickper: a short meeting, a couple of dialogs – and in a bed. Dialogues talk about the characters negligently few, and in the end the player not only does not sympathize with them, but generally does not count for people.
